Community Stakeholders for Social Good is an umbrella body of Stakeholders, Corporate Organizations, Institutions, Academia, Local Entrepreneurs in Akwa Ibom State working tirelessly to curb the outbreak of the pandemic in Akwa Ibom State.

These community stakeholders have undertaken measures delivered as part of the COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, seeking to provide direct support to Akwa Ibom citizens and businesses.
Part of the measures undertaken by these stakeholders include Sensitization Campaigns to Local Government Areas, provision of Hand Sanitizers to communities, Production of Face Masks and Hand Sanitizers, Online purchase and secure home delivery of products, trainings and support for WFH staff, strategic community conversations, among others.

Increase awareness of AKS residents and provide PPEs as part of measure to reduce risk of transmission as well as
Provide Access
Provide information and required resources such as PPEs to individuals.
Referrals/Linkage
Linkage of symptomatic
individuals to a designated
isolation or treatment center as the case may be.
Footprints
The Dakkada Multipurpose Cooperative Society and MEGP Alumni Network took the COVID-19 prevention messages to Oruk Anam and Oron LGAs.
In their visit to Oruk Anam, members of the community embraced the preventive measures offered by the team and promised to disseminate the information to more community members to further expand the reach of the messages received.
Also visited was Esuk Efak waterside community in Oron LGA which is a transit town between Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Cameroon. The community heads also assured the team of their readiness to propagate the sensitization messages across community members.
Items distributed included; hand sanitizers, soaps, hand washing buckets and face masks.
Footprints
The University of Uyo Teaching Hospital a tertiary health facility in Akwa Ibom State received a boost towards their preparedness against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr&Mrs Enim Akwa furnished the health facility with isolation gowns/overalls, shoe covers and hair covers for health workers managing patients as Personal Protective Equipments other wise called PPEs. .
