We applaud the great Leadership of RT Honorable Obuo and his strength in Partnership, transparency, and accountability in transferring Palliative provided by the Akwa Ibom state government to his people in order to cushion the effects of Coronavirus Pandemic.

The local government chairman gave 100 (100ML) Hands Sanitizer. The National President of Okobo Development Union has ensured logistics and community guide is provided. We do not also take for granted the sensitization duty taken on by executives of the Nigeria Library Association and World Literacy Foundation, the efforts of village heads and town criers.

Having fully sensitized and created awareness in 17 Local Governments in Akwa Ibom state, our greatest concern is the potential for the virus to spread to villages with less information, weaker health systems, and which are ill-prepared to deal with it. We are engaged in a nationwide battle, the likes of which most of our population has never experienced. We’re being asked to sacrifice in ways that may have been unthinkable just a month ago. The daily headlines offer grim prospects for infection and loss of life. But we’re here with a message of optimism.

We can beat this foe together. Humans were biologically designed to win. And win, we will!
